Many colours are used here in an abstract pattern here, inspired by graffiti on their home studios The Bakery and The Beehive. In further research I found that “Coldplay wanted it to be an explosion of vivid colours” but “at the same time there were lots of lyrics and codes they wished to add.” A full graffiti wall was created by a British street artist alongside the band itself and a picture including three parts of the wall was created to feature on the front cover, while the whole wall is featured on the center of the CD's booklet.
